Dressage Girths

Dressage girths are shorter than standard girths, designed specifically for dressage saddles where the girth straps sit lower on the saddle flap. The shorter length means the buckles sit below the saddle flap rather than under your thigh, giving you a cleaner leg position and more direct contact with the horse's sides.

Our range includes dressage girths from Schockemöhle, Acavallo, Imperial Riding, and Equestro in a variety of materials and designs. Leather girths offer a traditional look and improve with age, while synthetic and elasticated options provide easy care and comfortable give during movement. Many feature anatomical shaping that allows freedom through the elbow and shoulder area.

Getting the right girth length is important — measure from one girth strap buckle, under the belly, to the other buckle, then choose a girth that allows the buckles to sit in the middle of the strap range for adjustment.
