Size chart

Measure the circumference of your horse's legs, both front and hind legs. Below size chart will guide you to the right size for each leg. Please be aware that each horse is different and our size charts are to be used as a guide only.
Below there's general guidance - but as we all know, leg size isn't fully determined by horse height. Some cobs and ponies can be heavyweight with larger legs. We highly recommend you measure your horses legs or measure boots that you know already fit them to help you choose a size.

PONY (<14hh): small size for both front and hind legs, unless your pony has a bigger cannon bone typically (use the size chart below to measure)

COB (14.2hh - 15.3hh): medium size for both front and hind legs

FULL (16hh - 16.2hh): medium size for front legs, large size for hind legs

EXTRA FULL (16.2hh +): large size for front and hind legs

The Classic Mesh Brushing Boots from Equestrian Stockholm are the ultimate breathable leg protection. The lightweight mesh construction guarantees maximum comfort, all round protection while still keeping the leg cool during hard training sessions.

Featuring wide elasticated velcro straps and an anatomically shaped inner leg strike pad, the Mesh Boots have been precision designed for a snug fit. Optimal coverage that allows unrestricted movement.

A great investment in quality, these are beautiful enough for special events but work hard enough to be a daily staple.

These brushing boots are in the new limited edition Avenue Green colour way, which matches the dressage and jump pads as well as the ear bonnets and other accessories perfectly. The Mesh Boots are sold in sets of two.

Equestrian Stockholm have two distinct types of boots for horses, to protect their legs from injury and brushing.

Both types of boots fit very slightly differently, so it's recommended that you measure your horses legs, or measure some boots that you know already fit them well. You'll find exact measurements and full sizing guide above the description on this page under Size Chart.

As a general guide, here's our recommendations:

PONY (<14hh): small size for both front and hind legs, unless your pony has a bigger cannon bone typically (use the size chart below to measure)

COB (14.2hh - 15.3hh): medium size for both front and hind legs

FULL (16hh - 16.2hh): medium size for front legs, large size for hind legs

EXTRA FULL (16.2hh +): large size for front and hind legs

It's our recommendation that you brush off your boots after every use to remove sand, mud and debris. If the boots are wet or sweaty after use, keep them open or loosely closed, separately and hang them up to dry out.

Washing

Cold gentle machine wash at 30°. Attach velcro fasteners backwards before machine wash. Do not tumble dry
