How to measure: the dimensions below describe the bell boot itself. Bell boot sizing typically corresponds to your horse's overall size — Small for ponies, Medium/Large for average cobs and full-size horses, X-Large for heavier-boned or warmblood types.

This size chart is a guideline. Bell boots should sit just above the coronet band — the boot should rotate freely around the pastern without riding up onto the leg or catching under the hoof. If your horse has heavy feathering or an unusually wide hoof, size up.

A pair of PVC bell boots with a wide velcro and PU closure, made to take the daily knocks of schooling and turnout. The PVC is water-repellent, so they rinse off cleanly after a muddy field.

Plain and glitter finishes both wipe down easily, which is the reason PVC bells stay a yard staple — they protect against overreach injuries without needing much looking after.
