Size chart

Use this size guide to find the right size for your HV Polo saddle pad. HV Polo saddle pads come in two shapes — General Purpose (GP, for jumping and all-purpose saddles) and Dressage (DR, for dressage saddles) — each available in Pony, Cob and Full sizes.

How to measure: the measurements describe the pad itself, not the horse. Compare against your current best-fitting saddle pad, or measure your saddle from pommel to cantle to estimate the right size.

  • A — top edge width (along the spine, pommel to cantle)
  • B — front height (withers edge to bottom edge)
  • C — back height (cantle edge to bottom edge)

General Purpose (GP) Saddle Pads (cm)

Size A — Top width B — Front height C — Back height
Pony 50 46 46
Cob 53 48 48
Full 56 52 52

Dressage (DR) Saddle Pads (cm)

Size A — Top width B — Front height C — Back height
Pony 51 47 45
Cob 56 56 53
Full 61 59 56

This size chart is a guideline. Saddle pads should extend 2–3 cm beyond the edges of your saddle on all sides. If your horse is between sizes, size up — a slightly oversized pad can be positioned further forward, but an undersized pad cannot fully cover the saddle panel.

The Pearly is HV Polo's everyday GP saddlepad with a softer, dressier finish — built on a 3D mesh backline that keeps airflow moving through the pad so the horse's back stays cool through schooling and polo work.

The body carries a two-arrow quilting pattern with pearl piping running around the binding for a bit of shine, and the HV Polo metal badge on the front for the brand's signature touch.
