The Soft Rubber Reins from Schockemohle are a flat rubber design and finished with hook and stud fixtures to fix them to the horse's bit.
The rubber has slightly raised circular 'dots' along the length, to enhance your grip, even when wet. These rubber reins are very soft and flexible - they do not have any leather or reinforcement through the centre, meaning they are incredibly pliable and offer an unrivalled 'feel' down the rein.
The reins come with leather martingale stops. However, if you do not plan to use the reins with a martingale, these can be adjusted/cut off by a leatherworker or removed carefully yourself.

Unless otherwise stated, all reins are FULL size. Pony and Extra Full are available in certain lines but not all.

To take good care of your reins, always put them through the throatlash on your bridle when storing.
Store your reins in a dry place and avoid soaking them in water for any length of time - it can cause the leather to crack.
To clean, follow usual guidance for tack cleaning - ensure you keep them clean and dry them off when wet. Use a leather balm to keep your reins supple.
